Meet the Coach

Timothy McCoy Glass II

Coach Timothy “Coach Glass” Glass II brings decades of experience, leadership, and passion to the game of lacrosse. His journey in the sport began in 1987 at Walbrook High School, where he helped lead his team to a district championship during his junior year. Since then, lacrosse has remained a constant part of his life — both as a player and a coach. Following high school, Coach Glass proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1991 to 2003. After completing active duty, he attended Morrisville State College, where he played collegiate lacrosse for three years while also competing in box lacrosse with the Oneida Indian Nation in New York. Throughout his coaching career, Coach Glass has made an impact across multiple programs and levels of competition. From coaching in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., to becoming a respected leader in the Texas lacrosse community, he has dedicated himself to developing athletes both on and off the field. Since moving to Houston in 2004, he has coached with programs including Cy-Fair Ironmen, Houston Christian High School, Iron Horse Lacrosse, Kingwood Lacrosse, Texas Made Lacrosse, and multiple generations of athletes at the Klein Lacrosse Club. During his time with Klein Lacrosse, Coach Glass helped lead the program to a State Championship appearance in 2012, earning 2nd place honors, and was recognized as Coach of the Year that same season. His commitment to player development, teamwork, and mentorship has made him a respected figure within the lacrosse community. Coach Glass believes in teaching athletes how to think, grow, and lead through the game. His coaching philosophy — “Try it my way first, if it works, make it your own and improve it if you can” — reflects his passion for helping players build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for lacrosse.
